Amadeus University is a privately owned university that is located in Amizi, Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State. The university is part of private universities that are situated in Abia State.
Amadeus University was established in 2023 following the university’s approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and also a license by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
Amadeus University was established by Dr. Godwin Nwabunka, who is an economist, entrepreneur, and former United Nations (UN) staff member. The university is promoted by Grooming Centre, a social enterprise founded in 2006 for the purpose of inclusive finance, education, health, and sustainable development.
Amadeus University is a university that has a different phase of transformation and growth from 2019, when the proposal was raised to establish the university, and this led to the formation of the committee in 2020, and by 2023, the plan kicked off with the university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
