
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced fresh internal and external vacancies for qualified officers to fill mid-management positions within the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
This guide provides the positions available, eligibility requirements, application method, deadline, and official email to submit your application.
Available Positions (CONPASS 10–14)
The following mid-level ranks are open:
Deputy Controller of Fire (DCF) – CONPASS 14
Assistant Controller of Fire – CONPASS 13
Chief Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 12
Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 11
Deputy Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 10
Applicants may apply for only ONE position. Multiple applications lead to automatic disqualification.

Statutory Requirements for Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
Must be an employee of a Federal, State, or Local Government MDA.
Minimum height: 1.65m (male) and 1.60m (female).
Must be physically and mentally fit.
Application must be sent to the Secretary to the Board via the official email.
Must possess a Letter of Identification from Local Government of Origin.
Must have Confirmation of Appointment evidence.
Must submit three (3) years APER/PMS reports where applicable.
Must provide Certified True Copy (CTC) of Record of Service.
Must have no criminal record.
Must submit letters of previous appointments, if any.
Must present a Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government hospital.
Must be free from financial embarrassment.
Paramilitary personnel are NOT eligible to apply.
Submission Deadline
All applications must reach the Board on or before December 15th, 2025.
